Several addresses and contacts for one client
A client can have many sites (addresses), each with its own contacts such as a tenant or caretaker. Add sites on the client's page under Sites, and site contacts on the site's page. Every quote and job at that address shares them.
Contents
Open the client and press Add new site in the Sites card. Add the people at that address under Site Contacts on the site.
Where: a client, opened from Clients; all addresses on Sites
- Open the client from Clients.
- In the Sites card press Add new site.
- Type a Label (such as "Rental, Smith St"), start typing the address and pick it, and tick Primary if it is the main one.
- Press Add site.
- Press Open this site to add Site Contacts, notes, photos and assets for that address.
Watch out: site contacts belong to the address, not the quote. Changing one on a quote changes it on every quote and job at that site.
Client contacts and site contacts
| Client contacts | Site contacts | |
|---|---|---|
| Who | People at the client, such as a property manager | People at one address, such as a tenant or caretaker |
| Where to add | Client page > Contacts > Add Contact | Site page, or the quote or job page > Site Contacts |
| Used for | Who a quote or invoice is addressed to | Who you call or text on the day |
Each list has one Primary. The phone numbers on both appear when you press Call or Text on a quote or job.
Working at a site
The site's card and page have New quote for this site (or New quote here), Book a job and Navigate. The site page lists every quote, job and invoice at that address.
Changing or removing a site
- Edit (the pencil) changes the label or address. Unsent quotes and jobs pick up the change; sent ones keep their original address.
- Deactivate hides a site you no longer work at. It moves under Inactive on the client and its history stays.
- A site with any quote or job on it can't be deleted; deactivate it instead.
All your sites
Sites lists every active address across your clients, most recently worked at first. Search by label, address or client. Add new sites from the client's page.
A business with several people
