Customer quote requests arrive in Enquiries. Open one and press Make pending quote.
Where: Enquiries
- Open Enquiries from the menu, or the Enquiry chip on Quotes.
- Open the enquiry to read What the customer sent: name, contact details, address, message and photos.
- Check the Client (Chippie matches an existing client by email or phone), Site address and Description.
- Press Make pending quote. The quote opens with their photos copied across.
- Add a price and send it.
Watch out: an enquiry is not a quote yet. A quote you make with no price is a Pending quote, and sits under the Pending chip, not Enquiries.

Add a form to your website
- In Settings → Public Profile, turn on Show my public profile and press Save public profile.
- Open Add an enquiry form to your website at the top of the tab.
- Chippie form: copy the code into your website. Your own form: point your existing form at Your form address and match the field names shown.
- To get each enquiry by email too, turn on Also email me every enquiry and press Save.
The website form is greyed out until your public profile is on and saved.
Declining
Open the enquiry and press Decline. It moves under Declined and can still be read. An enquiry already made into a quote shows "This enquiry is now Pending Quote" with Open quote instead.
