Does my client need an app to accept a quote?

No. They get a PDF and a link to an online quote page that opens on any phone, with accept and decline buttons. No account, nothing to install.

What happens when the client accepts?

Chippie creates the job and a draft invoice with the agreed amounts in one step. The job keeps the details as they were agreed, even if the quote is edited later.

Can I send the invoice before I leave the job?

Yes. Marking the job complete makes the invoice ready to send, and you send it from your phone. The client gets a PDF and a secure link with your payment details on it.

Can clients pay by card?

Yes, if you connect Stripe. Clients pay from the link in the invoice email. Stripe charges its card fee; Chippie takes no cut of your invoices. Bank transfer and cash work with no setup.

Yes. There is an iPhone app on the App Store, and on Android and any computer Chippie runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen. Your jobs are the same on every device.

Does it work without signal?

Not fully yet. Building and sending a quote needs a mobile connection. Full offline mode is not available, so in a black spot you finish the quote once you are back in range.
