Your client opens the link in your email or text and presses Accept quote or Decline. No account or download is needed.
Where: the link in every quote and invoice you send. Preview it from the quote page: See what your client sees.
- Send the quote from its page: Send > Email or SMS.
- Your client taps View full quote (or the link in the text).
- They read it and press Accept quote or Decline, adding a message if they like.
- You get a notification. Accepting makes the job and a draft invoice for you.
Watch out: the buttons show only while the quote is Quoted. A priced quote becomes Quoted when you send it.
The online quote
It shows your logo and business name, the quote number and status, when it was issued and (if you show it) Valid until, the description, the Summary of line items, tax and total, the photos you ticked Show to client, and your licence numbers. Download a PDF copy is at the bottom.
Under the buttons, Add a message lets the client write to you; it is saved on the quote's Activity.
After they answer, the page says "You accepted this quote." or "You declined this quote." A declined quote becomes Cancelled on your side. Reopen it with Update Status > Revert Status.
Preview before you send
Until a quote is first sent, the top of its page has See what your client sees. It opens the client's page with nothing live: the buttons explain who can answer instead of acting.
The online invoice
Invoices work the same way. The page shows the Amount Due, How to pay with your bank details, and an I've paid this invoice button with an optional reference. When the client presses it, the invoice shows Awaiting Confirmation for you to Confirm Payment or Reject Payment. See Taking payments.
Links
Quote and invoice links do not expire and can be forwarded. Anyone with the link can see the page, so send it only to your client.
