Chippie vs JobFlow: the cost for your crew, and which one fits
JobFlow and Chippie both put Irish VAT on every quote and invoice. JobFlow is one plan at €59 a month plus VAT. Chippie is free to start, and €15 a month including VAT covers two of you. The rest comes down to the apps, how your customers pay, and how much setting up you want.

- Chippie Pro is €15 a month including VAT with 2 users, Team €25 with 4, extra users €5 each. One user is free up to 20 jobs a month.
- Chippie quotes, schedules and invoices with Irish VAT from the phone, and you can send your first quote the night you sign up. JobFlow sets you up on a call.

What does each cost a crew of one to six?#
JobFlow is one plan with two users in it and €10 plus VAT for each person after that. Chippie has a free plan for one person, Pro for two and Team for 4. JobFlow's page lists its price before VAT, so the table shows it both ways.
| JobFlow, plus VAT | JobFlow, with VAT | Chippie, with VAT | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Just you | €59 | €72.57 | Free up to 20 jobs, or Pro €15 |
| Two people | €59 | €72.57 | Pro €15 |
| Four people | €79 | €97.17 | Team €25 |
| Six people | €99 | €121.77 | Team plus 2 users, €35 |
| JobFlow, 12 months at €72.57 including VAT | €870.84 |
|---|---|
| Chippie Pro, paid monthly | €180 |
| Chippie Pro, paid yearly | €150 |
JobFlow as listed on its pricing page, verified 6 November 2026, with VAT at 23%. Chippie prices include VAT; paid yearly is ten months for twelve. Check jobflow.ie/pricing before you budget.
Neither ties you in. JobFlow is month to month with no contract, and Chippie is monthly or yearly and you cancel from the app.

Quoting, scheduling, invoicing with Irish VAT and working with no signal are on both sides. JobFlow goes further on payments, Sage and VAT rates. Chippie costs a fraction of the price for a small crew, and you install it from the App Store or Google Play.
Running it from the phone#
Chippie is built for an owner who runs the business from the phone. The iPhone and Android apps are the whole app, not a field view: you quote on site, dictate the line items, schedule the job, take the photos and send the invoice from the same app, and the office sees each change as it happens. Your VAT number and registration numbers, such as your RGI number, print on every quote and invoice once you have entered them.
JobFlow's field app installs from the browser rather than a store, and JobFlow sets the system up with you on a call: your customers imported, your job types configured, your team signed in. If you would rather have someone do that with you, that is worth something. If you would rather start tonight on your own, Chippie has nothing to configure first.
When is JobFlow the better choice?#
- Your customers pay by card on the spot. JobFlow sends payment links through your own Stripe account, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay, and says it adds no margin of its own.
- Your books are in Sage. JobFlow syncs two ways with Sage as well as Xero.
- You do SEAI grant work. JobFlow takes a CSV of approved homes and keeps declarations of works and BER documents on each job.
- You charge more than one VAT rate, do RCT work or file the RTD. JobFlow offers five rates, marks an invoice as RCT reverse charge, warns on the two-thirds rule with its cost tracking switched on, and exports Revenue's return of trading details.
- You want routes planned and customers booking online. Both come in JobFlow's one plan.
JobFlow is built for Irish service businesses with that kind of week. If yours looks like the list above, its price is buying you something you use.
When is Chippie the better choice?#
- You are a sole trader or a crew of up to about six, and the work is quotes, jobs, invoices and VAT.
- You want to start free and stay free while you are under 20 jobs a month.
- Two of you can share Pro at €15 a month including VAT, instead of €72.57.
- You run the business from your phone and want the app from the App Store or Google Play.
- You want to be quoting today, with nothing to set up and no call to book.
Moving your customers across#
JobFlow syncs with Xero, so if your customers are in Xero, Chippie brings them across from there on Pro and Team: Settings, Integrations, Import customers from Xero. Otherwise send us your customer list as a CSV or spreadsheet and we load it into Chippie free, usually the same day. Download PDFs of past invoices you need to keep: Revenue expects business records kept for six years.
