How the 20-job limit works#

Quote as much as you like

Quotes do not count. Price every enquiry, including the ones that go nowhere.
A job counts when the work is won

When a client accepts a quote, or you add a job yourself, that is one of your 20 for the month.
At the limit, nothing is lost

Accepting another quote tells you the monthly limit is reached. Your clients, quotes, jobs and invoices stay exactly as they are.

Is Chippie really free?

Yes. The Free plan costs nothing, needs no card and has no end date. It covers 1 user and up to 20 jobs a month, with quotes, clients and invoices unlimited.

What counts as a job?

A job is work you have won. One is created when a client accepts a quote, or when you add a job yourself. Quotes do not count, so sending a quote that is never accepted costs nothing against the limit.

What happens when I reach 20 jobs in a month?

Accepting another quote shows that you have hit your monthly job limit. Everything you have already made stays as it is. The count resets on the 1st of the month, or you can upgrade to Pro for unlimited jobs.

Is the Free plan a trial?

No. It does not expire. Stay on it as long as it covers your work.

Does the Free plan work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. There is an iPhone app on the App Store and an Android app on Google Play, and Chippie runs in any browser on a computer. Every plan gets the same apps.

Can I get my data out on the Free plan?

Yes. Exporting all your records and files is included on every plan, Free included.

Can more than one person use it for free?

No. Free is for 1 user. Pro includes 2 users for $25 a month, and Team includes 4.

How do I upgrade later?

The business owner opens Upgrade Plan in the account menu on the web and picks a plan. Your jobs, quotes and clients carry straight over.
